It’s Carolyn and Paul here from Tuckers Lane Boutique Accommodation & Tuckers Lane Custom Furniture. We want to share a few updates about changes to our businesses. Firstly, we wanted to thank you for supporting either our Accommodation or Furniture Business in the Hunter Valley. It means the world to our small business and we are extremely grateful.
We’ve recently subscribed to a mail service to provide updates however if you’d prefer not to receive any further emails, then please feel free to unsubscribe. We don’t intend to spam you with a million emails and will only use the service to share updates and or special offers.
Tuckers Lane Boutique Accommodation has now officially been open for 6 years and whilst we opened in Jan 2020, it feels like yesterday. To recap, we built the Accommodation and our Furniture business after our tree change from Sydney in Corporate life. Both businesses are on our rural property in the Hunter Valley and are the result of a long time vision to self sustain a better life for ourselves and create opportunities for our family.
Our cabins are built from recycled shipping containers; are adults only and all have their own private outdoor spa. We are more than just an accommodation venue and are proud to have welcomed over 3000 guests since opening. We have added a number of additions to create the ultimate getaway experience as well as host to small intimate weddings and group functions. We can sleep up to 14 guests between 3 x 1 bedroom cabins and 2 x 2 bedroom cabins. Two of the cabins now as have a private fire pit and we have a large communal fire pit. We’ve added our stunning Ironbark Pavilion for relaxation, proposals and weddings. We’ve completed our outdoor entertaining with our wood fire pizza oven and whilst the vision and ideas will continue to flow but for now the budget and vision don’t align so I’ll get to the point as we’ve got some exciting news, offers and changes.
CAMPING & MUSIC WEEKEND
Inaugural Camping and Music Weekend 17-19 April – It’s been a long time in the plans and will be beautiful and intimate weekend for up to 100 guests (40% of tickets sold) and I’d love for you to help us make this a huge success. If you know us, you’ll know how much we love music, wine, camping, fires and creating experiences for people to relax and unwind, hence why I’m so excited by this weekend. We have 4 exceptionally talented local musicians and an awesome Buffet Dinner on the Saturday as well as camp fires all weekend. BYO Camp gear or we have you covered with some Glamping Options.
- Tickets are $150 PP for the full weekend includes camping in your own self contained tent or van.
- Day passes for the Saturday only for $70, access between 11am to 11pm.
Accommodation Options for those without Camping Equipment:
- 1 Bedroom Cabin – $990 max of 2 guests (only 1 left – includes ticket entry)
- 2 Bedroom Cabin – $1800 max of 4 guests (only 1 left – Includes ticket entry)
- 5 Luxury Bell Glamping tents fully set up for you – $650 sleeps up to 4 people*
*Please note, 100% of the cost of the glamping tents is to an external provider. You will need to purchase an entry ticket for the weekend.

FIREPIT CABINS
Our Firepit Cabins are seasonal and are now available to be booked between 1 April to 30 September by selecting either:
- 1 Bedroom Spa & Firepit Cabin (Forest Cabin 1) or the;
- 1 Bedroom Premium Spa and Firepit cabin (Water Cabin 4) which has the bigger spa and premium view.
- Note: Cabin 4 can also be booked as a 2 Bedroom cabin by application.

2 BEDROOM CABINS
Our 2 bedroom cabins are bookable by application, they can not be booked directly online to ensure we don’t end up with a party house, however, we offer them to repeat guests and people that are OK to keep the noise down after 9pm. I know this sounds a little OCD, however as we are predominantly a couples venue, I like to ensure we are respecting the peace and tranquillity our environment offers.

GROUP BOOKINGS
If you’ve got an event, birthday, anniversary, family get together or other special occasion coming up, then we would love to talk to you about options incorporating exclusive property use. You might be looking for somewhere to host a wellness activity or similar. Whilst our cabins can sleep 14 adults, we work with a number of great businesses in the Hunter from Catering, Events, Relaxation Experiences, Tour Operators, Cellar Doors and so much more to help bring your occasion together.
SINGLE NIGHT BOOKINGS
Single night bookings are available Monday to Thursday and can be booked via our website.

WEDDINGS AT TUCKERS LANE
Since opening our accommodation in 2020, we have hosted a number of small elopements, micro weddings and vow renewals. Whilst this was always part of our grand vision, completing the build of our Ironbark Pavilion and Bar really created the opportunity for us to take this to the next level. In early 2024 we launched our micro wedding packages for up to 30 guests, however we are excited to be taking things to the next step. We are honoured to announce that we have signed a partnership with Hunter Events NSW, to take on the planning and management of weddings which will allow us to focus on the accommodation and keeping our grounds maintained. This partnership will allow us to increase our capacity up to 80 guests with the use of local hire companies for marquees etc. In addition to this, whilst our accommodation remains adults only we are also allowing a small number of children for the duration of the wedding and event. TUCKERS LANE CUSTOM FURNITURE
Tuckers Lane Custom Furniture produced its first beautiful piece of furniture in 2017 and has evolved to provide some stunning pieces for locals and businesses. Paul has been making furniture for over 30 years and is one of the most skilled furniture craftsman around. In 2023 our son Cooper started homeschool and was in the workshop with Paul most of the time developing some amazing life and trade skills. After completing 3 years of homeschool, he has now commenced full time work with us this year and has been making some great stuff. As with any business, its been tough, but having Cooper on board meant we could diversify into building 4X4 Drawers as its mostly a 2 person job. Both of these businesses were on our socials under a combined social page however this year we have separated them out to keep their own identity.
